Apa itu Past Tense? (Pengertian, Rumus dan Contoh)

PENGERTIAN

Simple Past Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang terjadi pada waktu lampau.

RUMUS

A. Kalimat Nominal (Predikatnya berupa kata benda, kata sifat, kata ganti, bilangan atau keterangan)

(+) Subject + To Be (was, were) + Non verb + Complement.
(-) Subject + To Be (was not, were not) + Non verb + Complement.
(?) To Be (was, were) + Subject + Non verb + Complement?

Note : You, We, They menggunakan to be Were
           I, She, He, It menggunakan to be was

B. Kalimat Verbal (Predikatnya berupa kata kerja)

(+) Subject + Verb2 + Complement.
(-) Subject + Did Not + Verb1 + Complement.
(?) Did + Subject + Verb1 + Complement?

last week (minggu lalu)
last saturday (sabtu lalu)
last night (tadi malam)
